I'm on my 5th year and the wife is on her 15th year. Cancer makes the world a small place.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN

My wife just celebrated 29 years!   However it has reared it's ugly head again in a different location.   Really puts things into prospective, lifes to short to sweat the small stuff....... like AH or any other game.

I lost my Mom at 14 (she was 43) to Intestinal Cancer, my Grandmother- Lung Cancer
and a younger Sister- Lymphoma (she was 45).
Needless to say, when I was first diagnosed, I was scared that I had a death sentence.
20 years ago, it would have been.
Thankful for the efforts of research, and thankful for each day.
I am blessed with 3 Daughters and 3 Grandkids :D
I plan on being here till Great Grandkids have to wipe my butt at least :aok

Glad to hear so many winning the fight- Keep fighting the good fight!

Thanks for all the thoughts!

Im proud of you oz, you have known the fear of death, you fought it & you won.

My mom had cancer when she was in her mid 30's "my age now" and shes 60 now. What will help you now further, is to aid those who are currently suffering this same affliction. Now you are a messenger, of hope.

Rock on brother, rock on.  :rock :pray :salute

Edit: Isn't it it ironic we are born into this life with our arse being wiped, then when we get old enough we end up wiping the arse of the ones we made, and if we are lucky, we get to have our arse wiped by the same people, if we are lucky. Life is shyt & diapers, just depends <--  "HAH!" On what side your standing on. Makes me smile every time.
