There's something special about the Yak-9U. The only complaints I have are its small armament and not-so-great range.

F4u-1a now, and depending on the fight, I will up whatever the pilot who just shot me down is flying and see how I do when I find them again

I like the A6M's, Ki-43, Ki-61, Ki-84, N1K2, and D3A the best. The P-39, P-47 and P-38 are fun too.

So far for me I prefer the American iron. P-47 d40 with ordinance or a p-47m for b and z. The fu-1a for speed and maneuverability in b and z mode. The fm2 is a fun little plane and the p-51 b once in awhile . if I feel the need to get spanked I will fly the 109k4. It will be my pet project I keep in the hanger and fly when I want. The best part is there are many more to try. It's why I love this game!
