* Medium Bombardment & Attack with the B-25 Mitchell NEW! (Restored) This unique film was made to indoctrinate B-25 & A-20 medium bomber squadrons transitioning from Europe to the Pacific, with a focus on the North American B-25. These groups were primarily tasked with ground and anti ship attacks, inflicting huge losses on Japanese forces, far out of proportion to their numbers. Great footage of extremely low level action!
*416th Bomb Group Douglas A-26 Invaders Attack! Color Exclusive original documentary Legendary SFP 186 Army Air Force combat cameramen rode along with 416th Bomb Group A-26 Invaders during March and April, 1945 with color film loaded in their cameras. The results are some of the most beautiful and dramatic footage to come out of the World War II. An added bonus is a scrapbook of remarkable 41th BG still pictures.
* The Stilwell Road & the China-Burma-India Campaign NEW! (Restored) The story of China-Burma-India (CBI) campaign is one of the most under-reported, yet most dramatic, exciting and important actions in World War 2. Narrated by Ronald Reagan, this is a very detailed strategic and tactical account of the entire campaign in the CBI, from the Chinese construction of the Burma Road in 1939 through the Japanese invasion of Burma, Allied counterattacks, Japanese counterattacks and the opening of the new Stilwell road to China in 1945. Lots of dramatic combat footage on all fronts is supplemented by behind the scenes looks at logistics, jungle hospitals and detailed maps that put diverse operations in context.
* DZ Normandy: The D-Day Airborne Invasion, June 6th, 1944 This film was produced to show the strategic and tactical planning that went into the airborne component of the June 6th, 1944 D-Day invasion as well as document the actual proceedings. If you think you've seen all the surviving footage about Normandy operations, this film will be an eye opener. Great footage of glider operations and 82nd & 101st Division paratroopers.
* The True Glory From D-Day to the Elbe Academy Award Winner 1945 (Restored) "The True Glory" tells the breathtaking story of the Allied sweep across Northern Europe, seen through the lenses of hundreds of Allied combat cameramen and captured German footage. Legendary American Writer-Director Garsin Kanin teamed up with Oscar Award Winning Director Carole Reed and 3 time Oscar Winning writer Paddy Chayefsky. They reviewed thousands of hours of film and hundreds of pages of eye witness accounts and distilled them down to this fast moving, exciting and inspirational collection of some of the finest images, music & narration we have from World War II
* Eddie Rickenbacker & the 88th, 94th & 185th Aero Squadrons France, 1918 NEW! (Restored) Captain Eddie Rickenbacker, flying with the 94th Aero Squadron, was the leading American Ace in World War 1 with 26 victories. See other American squadrons & pilots too .This is our first World War 1 feature!
* John Ford's "The Battle of Midway" (1942) Digitally Restored. An Academy Award Winning documentary, directed by four time Oscar Winner John Ford. This stirring film was shot by director John Ford during the intense June 4th Japanese carrier plane attacks on Midway Island and by Navy Combat Cameramen aboard the USS Yorktown during the epic carrier battle, along with color gun camera film of air to air and air to sea combat.
* Operation Carpetbagger B-24s drop agents and supplies into occupied Europe Specially modified B-24 bombers of the 492nd & 801st Bomb Groups flew up to 40-50 high risk missions on moonlit nights over Nazi occupied Europe, dropping agents and supplies to 300,000 Resistance fighters.
