Sad isn't it?  Fester could have ended it in one.  I seem to recall a player dealing with a far more serious real life issue having the guts to take the heat and the responsibility for it without excuses.  Fester could learn something from that guy

how about getting 50 kills on late war planes in crappy EW planes? getting a kill in every plane in game? getting 5 kills in a horrible Sea Hurricane?

At 1st I thought the acheivment thing was stupid, At no time have I ever considered getting all of them

 There are lots of acheivements I will  never get, planes I don't care to fly, buffs, gv's... But I do have the 1st one on your list  I wish Pyro would make it 1000 so I have something to shoot for and a few more of those hard crappy 1's <G> ....I prolly will never get the Hurricane anything. Most likly I'll never make 10 kills ina sortie, I will never get a kill in every plane.. but I am 11 away from killing every plane in the game save the WWI arena. I need a tiger 2 for all the GV's and I want to get it in a Ju87, so I'll have to wait till it comes up.

I get way more pleasure flying the old birds and prevailing, most times at a disadvantage... I can't imagine flying late war birds... wouldnt be fair, I do pass out kills of my 262 around Xmas though and don't let my mid war kills fool ya they were mostly done in a Ju87G2....  about 700 more for 2500

You are welcome to find excuses for avoiding what I'm saying.  The least respectful and most patronizing thing I could do would be to not call it straight.  That would be suggesting you aren't strong enough to handle it.

I APPOLOGIZE FOR MY ERROR IN JUDGEMENT. ON A WHIM I HIT THE BAIL KEY FOUND IT COUNTED AND WONDERED HOW FAST COULD FINISH THE ACHIEVEMENT BECAUSE I DID NOT LIKE THE ACHIEVEMENT BECAUSE IT WAS ENCOURAGING ME TO BAIL OUT ALL THE TIME INSTEAD OF LAND.

IT WAS GAMEY AND NOT IN THE SPIRIT OF THE ACHIEVEMENT. I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER. IT IS NOT HOW I PLAY THE GAME AND NOT IN CHARACTER AND NOT HOW I DO ANYTHING I ENJOY DOING.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO ME TO STAY IN THE SPIRIT OF THINGS AND NOT USE A GAMERS APPROACH TO THIS MY FAVORITE BELOVED GAME THAT I HAVE PUT SO MUCH EFFORT INTO IN SKINS AND MAPS AND TIME PLAYED.

As for me, I don't much care. I'm not offended, shocked, annoyed or angry. I may be a tad amused. This 'achievement' thing was something new to me when I returned to the game. I'm not convinced it really serves to 'build a virtual reputation.' If it gives players their jollies, ok. To me, AH ain't Star Trek Online. Yet, no harm, no foul.
