Shame on you!

I was researching bombers because I wanted to add more bomber action to my repertoire, and in so doing included a research of statistics
to aid in my selection of which bomber I may wish to campaign next. It was then that I noticed what I thought was a curious anomaly..
The anomaly of which I speak is 349 kills in a chute! Finding this most absurd and curious I researched further and found no such instances
in the past six months at all, much less what could only be considered epidemic.
This all hearkens back to an original thread that I started entitled downed pilot assassins. Now I don't know if it is because of my exposure
of this circumstance, or the simple fact that it is a cyclic event that is replayed Ad nauseam in aces high, but it is certainly conduct unbecoming!
If it is my exposure of this, despite my best intentions to warn the unwary; then I am sorry to the serious players, and to HTC for inadvertently
helping to manifest this.

Now I see that many on the list are a single count; probably curiosity seekers and such, but still shame! Your holding a colt O frame with a
captive audience.. What did you think would happen? It's no different than the thug waiting around the corner at the local ATM.

Closing thoughts: As my late father had told me on more than one occasion; you can be part of the problem, or part of the solution!
Now that you know you have a choice what's it going to be?

And yes, I do get that it's only a game. But it was not a game for the millions of combatants that were involved..

I don't have any shame what so ever of bailing out of my shot up ac and getting a kill on the guy when he augured

I'm sorry Surfinn that you got caught in the dragnet. I presume (perhaps incorrectly) that most understand, that not 100%
of those in the stat listing are being silly. Because it is known of course that legitimate chute kills (by proxy) or otherwise
do of course occur. It was not my intention to be a b-hatch, or be inflammatory to otherwise good family names, but rather
(hopefully) put to rest that which can be only be detrimental to that which we enjoy so much.

Yes olds442, having owned a couple (442's that is) in my lifetime, I acknowledge that there are instances where a "chute" kill is
legitimate. Otherwise the pro creators of this sim would not even have envisioned the necessity for this statistic in the listing.
As explained above, I acknowledge that not 100% of the list are being silly, and it is my regret that if your chute kill is legitimate
which I'm sure it is. Please acknowledge this is not my intention to be of some kind of vendetta, but rather (hopefully) bring light to,
and put an end too, that which can (most likely) only hurt this activity that we so enjoy.

my chute kills are simple:

I get shot down defending a base. My pilot walks to map room to defend against capturing troops. Along the way several enemy planes auger and I get the kills. Not intentional on my part but hey there's an achievement! Awesome.

This is probably the case for most of these folks.

Some do admit to walking to an enemy re-arm pad and shooting unsuspecting pilots, which I've been a victim of. If it's happened to you.....you know the sound, ping-ping-ping-oooof-dead.
