Disable Windows Button in AH

How about an easy way to disable the windows button in AH w/o having to mess w/ the registry? Is that possible. I'm tired of trying to zoom in my view only to find my desktop!

been a long time since i had that issue and i can't remember if i have any other games that ignore it...but if it's possible for ah to over ride a default windows function, ok.

button on your joystick can be mapped to zoom...or pull the key off your keyboard.

It can be disabled from within Windows.  I don't think it can be done by AH.

It can also be disabled easily on most keyboard by using a screwdriver or a knife.

If you don't have a feature on your keyboard to disable the windows key, then the registry fix is pretty much your only solution.  There are some little programs out there (use at your own risk) that do the registry entry for you if you don't feel like doing manually yourself.

Ah, that is right.  Ack-Ack's post joggled my memory.  There is a patch that you can get from Microsoft to disable it.
