down loading hi res.....

 Recently I changed my vid settings back to 1024...at 1280x800. First time during play, I saw the box"we gonna download you some cool textures, but we ain't gonna hurt your FRs while doin' it."..cool beans. Than I logged in again and my puter wanted me t' know was it cool run program(re:1024)? Cool beans, I told puter.....no problem.
 But now every time I log in gameplay it downloads textures...doesn't hurt but, letting ya' know.
 BTW, you all deserve a 'Well Done'..keep it up.

 :headscratch:  what? do you have auto skin download enabled in the hangar or something? the hires pack is a self installer. it only installs once and it doesn't pop up when you start the game.

How many times has it done that?  If it's been a long time since you've run that max texture setting, you may be out of date several versions and it will take several update cycles to catch up.  Let me know if it continues.
