One thing I have realised is there are a lot of good guys here (and a few girls) and I should not let the few bad apples ruin the fun for me.

So I will be flying under RZ67 for a while then going back to NikonGuy so that I can again answer everyone's camera questions just as I get into a fight .. lol.

PS RZ67 is my Mamiya medium format camera which I am in love with .. I actually don't use Nikon much anymore  :(

I have a camera question:  What are decent settings to use to take a portrait pic and have the object in focus and the background blurred?  Those look cool.  All my pics have everything "kinda" focused or in focus but background less in focus.
