This is a joke right?  :huh

No!  I was shot down in my P-40N just the other day by an "easy mode" P-47M.  It should be perked! :old:

Im guilty of flying easy mode planes but not because there easy mode just because there british and so am I, I do venture into harder planes from time to time but I never fly german iron as I just hate them there engine sounds and there views sorry I just do. Imo tho although some planes are easier to fly than others it makes no difference because its the pilot who makes them dangerous.  :rock

I'm flying a P-40N on attack missions and running into all these "easy mode" planes like the 109G-2 and 190A-5 to name a few!

It's not fair, all these "easy mode" planes should be perked  :old:

I admire your spunk in taking up a Pee40 in LW but the sad fact is they just cannot compete with the plane set in there unless you are exceptionally skilled in that ride....and that's going to take a lot of seat time and patience. You might find it more enjoyable in the MW arena.
But we all know the good action is in LW so I would suggest that you fly the back bases doing your porking where to chances of being confronted by one enemy at a time is more probable (a wingman might not be a bad idea either). Also I'd suggest that you film your sorties and talk to a trainer to get you a few pointers on how to fight from a disadvantage. Learning how to save your energy while you force the bad guy to burn his, and learning how to create overshoots can mean the difference in winning and losing against a more superior aircraft.

RAK is a decent stick in the p40. I came back from a break, and first sortie he tested me in the A5. Great fight.

I saw a movie a while back with John Wayne flying a P40.  He made it look real easy.  Seems they shot down every enemy plane they saw.

I saw that movie...thought that was how it would be :)  But then, again, I'm not John Wayne :lol

What about the A5 strikes you as "easy mode?" Most seem to struggle in it but....curious.

:airplane: I started flying the P-40N in the last few days and I must admit, it doesn't get the credit it deserves! It has "Wep", 6, .50cal guns and will turn with anything in the game! Have seen 475 in dive with no ill effects, so I plan on using it more and more.
Blue Skies and wind at my back and wish that for all!!!
