We are about 800-1000ft too far from both the CO's to get DSL. And we are actually right on the edge of 4G coverage according to the installer that came out. He only installed the service cause he found a spot on our roof that was getting a good consistent signal. (3 miles from the tower)

I got the Pingtest to complete fully, Reading the FAQ on the site (I should have done this first.) they recommended opening ports 5060 or 8080. So I did that. (I also got a USB wireless card so my desktop could actually connect to the network, a Netgear N300 to be precise.)

After a bunch of tests I think these were the worst results I got.

:) More than happy, I am honestly surprised about 4G LTE so far from my 3G experiences (Tried Sprint 3G here last year, was bad enough that Satellite ran better.) Also the best part is we got some pretty nice storms roll through the last two days, and the service held up pretty well. Hughes liked to drop out even with fairly moderate rain.

Now I need to change my signature, only thing holding me from AH now is I need to get is a decent joystick and a bit more money. :D

not bad Gustav. it will be interesting to see your data usage after playing ah for a month. are they going to show that info on your bill or on their customer service site? you definitely do not want to watch movies online, most especially hd.

I believe it will be on the site and on the bill. I know we were told to go to the 'My Verizon' site to see data usage.

It may be a bit yet before I start playing AH. :) Tried offline with Mouse and Keyboard and my USB 360 controller. The end result tells me I need a joystick if I plan to do anything but create spare 109 parts.
