My forum handle was also my in-game handle. Widewing comes from the name of Warren Bodie's publishing company. At the time, I was doing research and co-writing with Warren. So, I adopted Widewing.

After several years as an Aces High Trainer, I took a short break from the game. When I returned, I changed my handle to Tredlite, as it appears on the vanity plate on my Jeep JK. Simple, really.

When I started AH in tour 51, I was ddragon since dragon was taken.  I took a short break and came back as ledragon till the Dayton gathering in 2009 (I think) when I did all the cooking and it was requested I change my name to Chef.  When the Spartan Warriors accepted me I changed to SWchef.

Since we have SWdrgn in our squad, even after all these years I still have to think when we get our assignments that I am not drgn.    :uhoh

In Warbirds I went by the callsign Flyhii. I also went by this callsign the 1st time I signed on to AH.

The second time I opened an AH account I had "grown" some so Pudgie was appropriate.................. .

I like RedBull.

I went to the RedBull air races once with my wife and a friend.  Our section had an endless supply of free RedBull.  At one point, my friend is fidgeting around and says, "I feel sort of clammy and twitchy."  "How many of those did you have?" asks my wife.  "About seven," says my friend.

1st time I made an account in 2000 was 2 days after booting up the 1st PC I ever owned. When the game asked for a CS this was news to me. I looked over at the toolbox still sitting on the floor from installing a new phone line (and still on 56K today).
I remembered when I was just starting out as an electricians helper 10 years earlier. I was told we had to cut some 4" ridged for sleeves in foundation walls.
The electrician I was working under said he would be right back. He did not tell my where or why he was going. When he returned with an electric bandsaw and cords, I had already cut 2 with my hacksaw. He started calling me by that. Had trouble lifting 12 OZ that night though.
Guess what was laying on top of my tool box day 1 of my AH addiction.

I grew up in the 82ND Airborne Division and am a Master Parachutist. Back in the day we used to joke that if you had a malfunction, you were nothing more than a dirt dart. That and the fact that the Air Force seemed to like trees more than sand, falling out of an airplane under a t-10, you are not steering, a dirt dart.

Was 5 years old, watched Titanic (without the rated R scene of course), at the same time, I started playing online games. 5 year old me put up whatever was in his mind at the time. Titanic happened to be it. Obviously, someone has already used it, tried Titanic1, didn't work. Tried Titanic2, didn't work. Titanic3? ding ding ding. Then it just stuck and I've been using Titanic3 for pretty much every game I play.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

My real nick name is Pepper so I wanted to use that as a cs.  Since Pepper was taken I decided to go with Pepprr, I thought it would be more girly anyway... :D
After how many years of playing this game I still get called sir.   :uhoh

In 1996  :old:, I was sitting at my desk with my stereo system on behind my chair trying to think of ID name for Air Warrior (1996-2001) Being a huge drum corps fan, after a while of pondering, I came up with "27th" because I was listening to 1980 performance of the 27th Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps from Revere, MA.

I was also x27thx and JB27 for two years.
