ANF Les Mureaux 115
Played a nice role upon the invasion of France as recon/observation. Would also be nice to have at least 1 French aircraft and this could be a nice start. Could compete with the storches performance. Compensate the storches STOL and supply ability for the Mureaux's armament (thing has a flippin hub 20mm for a recon/observation plane guys ) and payload of 440 lb bombs..

Operational history

The 113 entered service initially with the Armée de l'Air's reconnaissance Groupes, followed by the observation Groupes, and finally replacing the venerable Potez 25s in the Groupes Aériens Régionaux reserve units. It was followed into service by the 117 and 115. From 1934 to 35, 40 of the original 113s were converted into night fighters and used to replace the Breguet 19s still in service with France's two nightfighter Groupes.

By the outbreak of World War II, the 115 equipped nine Groupes Aériens d'Observation, and the 117 nine more. By April 1940, 11 aircraft had been lost in action, leaving 228 on strength at the commencement of the Blitzkrieg in May. By the time of the French armistice with Germany on June 25, only 62 remained, some of these in North Africa.

Interesting.

However, if you give it Storch-like vision *and* bombs/cannon, you are making it easier to kill GVs with AC, and it is already too easy to do that.

Perhaps toward lighter vehicles but not really. A single salvo of 440 lbs of bombs wont do much toward a group of heavier vehicles yet still handy + you better make that drop count not including AA (jeep .50s eat storches and this aircraft only seems it would be a tiny bit beefier). As for the 20 mil and 2 forward 7.5s Id imagine it would be like taking out a 109 with a single medium bomb load only much slower and as fragile as the storch. its armament both offensive and defensive (double the rear guns than a storches) are more toward aerial combat witch is great if there is both aerial and gv cons in the area. Not saying its 20mm wasn't ever used historically for strafing runs but its effectiveness would definitely be limited. If I wanted to up a a20 or IL2 why not just do that if im not trying to expose you and just wanna kill?
