Sick!  I can't believe you're there.  I was just reading the other night about the sequester and budget cuts and how they were trying to pay for the OT for the controllers to come.  I was hoping that all got worked out.

Anyhow, great video, nice plane, and nice flying.  I can't believe the traffic and the number of planes waiting for departure, I would be going bananas if I was a VFR controller in that airspace, hah.  I'm very jealous you're there, I've got a friend from Calgary who was flying his new Cessna single turbo prop thingy down there, he just spent 1/2 a mil on that plane and insurance.  I had no idea it was in such a beautiful spot near the water like that.

I used to be a flight planner for AOPA in 1984 and the department was insane around oshkosh time.

I cringed for the flight controllers when I saw some of the request letters.

I don't think the 1/2 +7 thing would have worked out in that situation  :D

I live up in Oshkosh and every year when EAA comes to town all of the locals hate it. Morons that don't know how to navigate a simple roundabout caused over 10 accidents this year alone. On top of that they always manage to drive gas prices up about 4-7 cents locally.

If any of you guys ever come to Oshkosh for EAA/AirVenture, don't be one of those morons.

Now that i'm done b*tching about the foreigners, the huge amount of planes that are in the sky is pretty impressive for Wittman seeing that its a dinky little airport.

Also, Gman, that lake is the nastiest lake in the entire world. Its full of sewage, e. coli and zebra muscles. On top of that up close its a brownish-green color. Just disgusting really.

I didn't say you were one of those morons, I said don't be one.

Read a bit more carefully next time. Its nice that you wasted your cash on a town that has crap law enforcement and a group of idiots running it, but for the love that is all good and right, don't act like an idiot.
