Tracers/No Tracers
« on: August 03, 2013, 07:48:57 PM »
Give a second option for fighter tracers and GV/Gunner tracers...

I always want tracers in a gunner position or GV... I don't want them in a fighter..

Yes, I know i can check/uncheck the box before each sortie...

You can turn tracers off in bombers, but it only affects lead plane.  Drones will still show them.  As for gv's, I ALWAYS see tracers from them, so I don't think it works for em. :headscratch:

The tracer on/off works for GVs, but we have to see our tracers in order to hit our targets   :devil . Even I am not that good a shot without my tracers

I asked for this a few months ago. Having this option to turn tracers off for say.. your sneaky sneaky alt bomber plane, but have them on for your ubah dubah turnah zeke and have them on for your m16 but not your wirble.

Having the option to select to have tracers on PER INDIVIDUAL PLANE/VEHICLE would be quite nice.

+1 to wish.

Tracers should be a hangar loadout option, not part of the game settings.

Did they even allow gunners to no load tracers? I am pretty sure the didn't because you didn't "sight" to shoot from the waist of a B17 for instance.

I'd like the ability to readjust tracer load out as well.  Example: When I up, I have no tracers initially.  However, when I'm down to 3 seconds fire time, I'll see a TON of tracers.  Something along those lines. :headscratch:

So long as bombers are always loaded with them.

Did anybody in the war actually remove the tracers from the belts of his bomber's defensive guns?

I can find no reference to removing tracers from the belts of defensive guns on bombers.

A defensive gunner would probably want the attacking fighter to know that lead is coming thier way to make him think twice about getting close.
