I doubt the previous D-series Ju 87 could carry the 1.8t bomb, the D-5 could but only with reduced fuel (fuselage tanks only, wing tanks empty). I don't have an overload loadplan for D-1 and D-3 though.
D-1 in had a standard max takeoff weigt of 5.9t and with 1t bomb it's at 5.84t.
D-5 hat 6.3t as standard max takeoff with overload max at 6.5t, with 1.8t and reduced fuel it's at 6.48t.
Max bomb weight for D-5 within standard load conditions is 1.4t at 6.303t overall weight.

Okay..Add 2 Country's at once, Australia and France next plane update Add ...CAC Boomerang and the Dewoitine D.520

And the book sourced this to what? In Theory you could add a lot of bombs, whether you will be able to take off or not is another question. Maybe it's like the old myth for the Ju 87A and B - leave out the rear gunner and rear armament.

You could theorise allot of things...maybe this will work better for you?

from this book

So we have a D-1 the only thing Pyro has to do is rename it and add a siren. Which would be cool  ;)

Since the G-2 is the D-5... same as above just add 20mm instead of 37mm and add the bomb options.. name it D-5 also very cool  :pray

Two pretty simple things to do ... don't you think?

I just got done re-reading Stuka Pilot by Hans Ulrich Rudel (A very good book) and he talks about dog fighting Russian fighter in the Stuka and shooting down planes. We made no mention of 20mm guns so I assume he used the two 7.92X57 guns. He also talks about his rear gunners downing planes and a few rear gunners were holder of the Knights Cross for shooting down planes with the rear gun in Rudel's unit also a 7.92X57 gun. Our rear gun in our JU-87 is near worthless.
Believe it or not I have had fantastic luck against pursuit a/c in der Stuka in the past. What I noticed was that a players excitement and supreme confidence causes them to be hyper-aggressive against them. I would jettison if still inbound and turn in to them and I am as aggressive as they are using flaps constantly for offensive purposes. I'd say three times in four they will try to out turn you at these lower speeds instead of extending which is the correct thing to do because there isn't much that can out turn a Stuka with flaps full. Those little tiny machine guns are not suited for destroying a/c but they work just fine when you shoot the pilot through the cockpit on one of these slow turns. Defensively I like to us the dive brake to force an overshoot and it surprises me how often it works. I never bother with my defensive guns in fact I usually expel them all shortly after takeoff to save a little weight, to me they are worthless.

I agree.  It has been awhile since I've baited a "real" fighter in to a duel but it is a lot of fun in those tight turns.  HOWEVER.... I strongly suggest you keep your rear gun ammo for a couple of reasons: First, you're gaining nothing from expending the ammo.  You've had some of that Kool-aid and that is too bad.  The weight savings is non-existent.  Secondly, you will get a chance with that rear gun while they're trying to catch up or climb behind you, they will get ;azy and think "no threat", but when you light them up with a long burst of duel .30 cal MG's you'll make them think twice about hanging out back there.

I found a place online were they talked about the Ju-87s have 2 20mm mounted in the wing root. :x This was in addiction to the 2 7.92 mm. I believe we see more people flying them then. Now they are cannon fodder for any plane. If you overshoot u might end up with a few pings. If u had 20mm u would be in more trouble.  Also were is the JERICO SIREN that they had mounted on for terror effect.
 Please HT pretty PLEASE :pray
Please respond HT
:airplane: Another little item that AH could add for game atmosphere is the siren that the stuka had on it, while the pilot in the aircraft probably couldn't hear it, all the people on the ground and in other aircraft could
Blue Skies and wind at my back and wish that for all!!!
