Should be from the 1991 season.   I got to talk to Rod a few times at Home Games in the past and I asked him about it, to the point of us both in tears laughing.   He is a good man.   He charged because it hit his back.   He wasn't trying to find him, he was trying to figure out how best to get to him.

I laughed out loud, funny vid. The editing of the reaction of the pitchers face was priceless.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Toronto Blue Jays had a player named Bell who charged the mound, and kicked the pitcher with a flying side kick, it was on the highlight reels forever, I'll try and find it.

George Bell and Bruce Kison if my memory serves me correct.   Just as funny as this one posted.

Hah, I knew if anyone would know who it was it would be you.  I'm still trying to find it, I used to have it 5 or 6 years ago someplace.

Karaya, do you remember the guy who buzzed the old Tiger Stadium with his Lear Jet?  I was at that game, during our yearly trip from Alberta to the Eastern USA to see family.  I also have a ball Sparky autographed for me while he was out in by our section in batting practice, he came right over when I asked him, I couldn't believe it. Try getting a player/coach to respond to that nowadays.  During batting practice a guy 3 rows over took a ball off the head as well....it was a really weird game, they had to pull the pitcher after the jet buzzed us, he was so screwed up over it.

I want to say around August of 85.  The FAA took his license for that one.

Sparky was a good man.  He would wait until every kid standing in line got an autograph after every game.

I also found a site that claimed to have a recording of the radio call during that, but I couldn't get it to load :(
Boildown

This is the Captain.  We have a lil' problem with our entry sequence so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.
