for some reason i just tryed to view a film and every time it says ahfilm.exe has stopped working

I used film viewer this morning just fine.
When I did have this problem a few years back, after re-installing everything it worked fine.

I recommend that you never double-click a film file to view it. If that's not what you did, please ignore.

Well Gee. Just how do you expect the film viewer to find the film you want if you do not name it???

I always do that and have never had an issue.
Only issue I have with the film viewer is that it tends to lock up when I have paint opened up

If you have a lot of films in the film folder try moving them or renaming the folder and making a new one named "films".
