New setup: "The Courland Pocket"

S! all

We were unable to use the Stalingrad map.   The following is the substitute scenario:

"The Courland Pocket".

It's Luftwaffe vs. Soviet VVS.

Background:

In late 1944, the Soviets attacked and cut off the German forces in the Baltic area.  The Courland Pocket in the Courland peninsula was created.

Hitler insisted these troops not be evacuated by sea on the still potent German Navy, but instead to stand and defend. He wanted to launch a counterattack to link up with the troops there.

The objective of the Soviets is to capture all the fields in the pocket while retaining control of the fields they started with.  The objective of the Germans is to break through and capture the fields which cut them off from the pocket.

Fields the Soviets must capture:

V46
P48
V50
A51
A53
D68

Fields the Germans must capture:

A52
A57
A58
A59
A60
D69

Perk points are active in this setup with different values being in place.

Perk planes:

German

109G10
190D9
TA152H
Me262
Arado

Soviet

La-7
Yak 9U

The Me262, Arado, FW190D9 and TA152H are restricted to certain fields.

Good job on this scenario.

We flipped to Axis for the challenge.  Excellent.
