I don't see how it would affect netlag.  It might have performance impacts, but as it is rendered locally that would vary from PC to PC.

Not a bad idea.  Can the smoke color be set by the server admin in the arena so we can get things like green smoke on St. Paty's or orange and yellow for halloween?

you want to celebrate veterans day, then go to your local shelter and volunteer.  they always need people and there always some vets that could appreciate the help.

dont want to volunteer at the shelter cool, no shame in that as it could be a scary thing at times, then go to your local retirement center and see if you cold perhaps visit one.  call first.

One day many years ago smoke was mistakenly enabled in the main arenas and players quickly found it was quite useful.  Players would keep the smoke off until someone was on their six and then turn it on, which made aiming for the attacker a little difficult because the colored smoke obscured their vision and threw off their aim.

It pains me to dignify the sheer stupidity you posted with a response, but as to why you would think I don't think people in this community don't do such things is beyond me, I am well aware of the generosity this community has, I was simply giving him ideas of what to do for veterans day, and I don't know what provoked you to come after me for that comment as it was in no way directed at you, so with all due respect, good luck and F*** off
