... you are missing the point.  Solo missions in WW2 were vanishingly rare.  

Suggestion:
Pair up into Elements (Rotten), put together elements to make Sections (Schwärme), or better yet, get a whole Squadron (Staffel) sized formation together and go to war!  :)

Good point Funky. And another benefit is it greatly enhances your ability to get kills and actually land your AC :)
