Weight of Aircraft
« on: August 30, 2013, 11:36:31 AM »
It would be nice in the hangar that you see  the difference in aircraft weight when loading bombs and other ordance. Such as taking a smaller gun package. I believer a aircraft with a full load of fuel and bombs and rockets weights more than what it says in hanger. :bolt:

Also if you up a plane with a smaller gun package and less ammo( P-47m 6 guns small ammo package) :rock . I noticed it did tend to make a diffference in the planes perfomance. I dont know how hard it would be to change put I believe it would help give you a edge in a fight. :old:

Given the fact that the E6M displays this info as soon as you spawn I don't imagine it would be hard to have it shown in the hangar.

You've just been upgraded, go back to the hangar and it will show the weight near the bottom of the screen. :O

It already does. See how your weight displayed changes when selecting smaller gun packages.
If you don't believe that number, spawn, shut engine off and check E6B

I didn't notice it made a difference in the hangar in the weight. All that changes the weight in the hangar is the fuel

Then I'd suggest you go back and look at it again. ;)

I think films should show the weight of the plane as reported by the front end.

Doesn't have to be constantly updating...........maybe once every 10 seconds to keep network traffic down.

I wonder if this would help 110 and 410 pilots. I feel sorry for them, watching them lag behind my lancaster. Oh wait no, it already does.
