Most of the time you can chalk it up to the frustration of the moment- it has been a hard fight against overwhelming odds, and you are getting clubbed. You can't see why no one else on your side is doing what you need them to do.
It might be that some are coming into the game with a predetermined idea of how the game should be played- it is after all what attracts them to the game to begin with. They are shocked therefore when it becomes apparent that the perception they had isn't shared by all.
I have been on about every end of this sim- H2H, Furball, Strat, Scenario, Tournament- you name it- and have had fun in all. There is room for everyone if we allow it to happen. The fine art is how to persuade people to do the things you want them to do without
telling them to, or even precisely how to. The old adage "leading by example" is very appropriate. If you make a name for yourself as a the "go-to" guy with a certain style of play, people will follow without being screamed at.
Westy, you're right; I don't know what will happen with WWIIOnline, and it doesn't really matter. I do maintain there will be a lot of disappointed megalomaniacs moving in-and-out of that sim, as it is impossible to have a world where everyone is the leader.
