I thought about all of that. I was looking at a cruiser that is bullet proof versus a runner. I figure with some mild mods, I will see 160-180 HP which is more than enough for a driver bucket T. That and a 9" is solid. The 8.8s cases just do not have that classic look.
The U-Pull-It near me has amazing engines, I just do not want to screw with the newer stuff. There was a Lincoln Mk VIII ... 6 Bolt Main 32v V8 ... same price as the 302 I pulled. Same for rear ends, there were a couple of Jags ... same story. Not interested, I just want simple, easy, and classic.
The look I am going for is Speedways Tribute T.
