Game Crashing
« on: August 30, 2013, 04:21:51 PM »
Lately my game has very nearly crashed at least once every time I play. I've repeatedly checked RAM memory cache and run a virus scan; all to no avail. This is beginning to become a real nuisance and keep me from wanting to actually play the game.

I need to see a DXDIAG output.

Noting you run a virus scan, I also need to know what anti-virus you are running.  Some can interfere with the game (Norton, McAfee, Avast,  and AVG are all notable for that).

Are you running any custom sounds?  They can also cause problems, depending on the sound hardware your computer has and what drivers you are running.

If it's not a software issue, you  might want to consider heat. I think Aces High does make your PC work fairly hard so maybe your PC is getting clogged up with dust and overheating when  working hard.
