Buying an x52 Throttle
« on: September 01, 2013, 03:43:02 PM »
Is it worth it to buy a saitek x52 throttle for 50 bucks? Does it need the disc or can I just plug it in and go?

Unless it's brand new (and includes shipping and a kiss on the lips from Sofia Vergara), that seems steep.  You can indeed plug and play without any software.

Well I'm looking to buy a decent throttle to go along with my thrustmaster 16000 and the only other option is the CH throttle for 100 bucks, or buying a whole saitek x52 set used for 70, or this.

I have a well worn X52 throttle that cosmetically looks it, but is totally functional.  You can have it for free if you pay the shipping.

Send a PM if you want to go that route.

For those who would like a budget throttle to be used with a T16000M or any other stick, the Thrustmaster HotasX is a cheap alternative.

I'm quite grateful for the offer. Of course I'm also in the market for a Track IR, rudder pedals and a hot blonde who watches Doctor Who....well, I suppose I can find those on my own.  :D
