WW1 Night
« on: September 02, 2013, 02:44:28 AM »
What are the odds that we can get everyone to say balls to the MA and flood into the WW1 arena for a few hours 1 night? We had a blast in there one night with just 5 of us, and I remember the first weeks WW1 was added was just fantastic fun.

How many people would be up for that? Can we set a day and time that WW1 arena has more people than LW?  :)

You would have to smash LW & MW servers for that to happen  ;)

We got a good 4v4 going tonight, was such a blast! More people need to know of this secret WW1 arena. It's about 10 times more fun than the LW!  :x

:salute to all who joined tonight. I had so much fun!

It would be brilliant to have loads take to the ww1 arena, the true meaning of the word dog fight.

The problem with WWI as it is is if there's 1 player they're either a WWI ace or they suck.  Either way it's no fun.

2-3 players mean an ace or two plus an average Joe.  The aces are usually on the same side flying Dr-1's.  Do you go die with average Joe or gang against him?  There are no good options.

4 or more becomes interesting with 10 being seemingly ideal. 4 can still suck because of some of the above but at 10 there's enough chaos to break down some of the natural groupings.

I'll go there any time I see 5 or more players but that's rare.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Just left a 5x5 battle not 5 minutes ago. Great fun tangling up in a wad like that. If i'm on I'd certainly stick my head in for a ww1 night. You'll find me in a D7

I was the token player that sucked. It was a donkey slaughter.  :cry
