...but I'm as good once as I ever was. Or at least that's what Toby Keith said a few years ago. After playing for a few hours Monday night, I came to a realization similar to this. Ever since I started college in August of 2010, and even before that, my time online has greatly diminished...along with what little "skill" I had acquired after playing this game several hours every day after signing up in March of 2007. With every return I make after taking a month or longer hiatus, I find that I enjoy the game more now than I ever did. I was never a really great stick, but I could hold my own in most situations, but, like I said, I spent several hours wasting away my high school years with my eyes glued to a computer screen. Now, whenever I get online, I enjoy the simple things like flying with the many friends I have made throughout the years. I jump from country to country depending who is online and whatnot, and from there I spend more time watermelon chatting and dying than actually trying to get a kill.
I guess the point of this post is this: whenever you feel annoyed with the game, the players, or whatever, take a break. A good long break will help you get your priorities in line in terms of the game. Learn to enjoy the friends and fellowship you have gained throughout the years. Or, if you're ever online and see me on, hit me up and I'd me more than happy to wing, chat, or do some stupid nonsense that's a waste of resources for winning the war
