How about something Soviet for a perk plane?

Not so funny on the receiving end - wasn't that the aircraft of the Nachthexen?
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Yes.

They are the one example I know of pilots turning off their engines in flight for reasons other than damage.

Whats the name of the bomber on the first page? Looks like a B29 with a different nose - Tu-4 maybe?
