This is a great game with everything that WarBirds has to offer and so much more. We also have FSO, (Friday Squad Operations) events like you enjoyed in the past and you all should seriously consider joining for them. You will need to register your squad when registration opens for the October FSO events. There is an FSO forum here that will guide you to make this happen.
There are many other events to join in on too. "Scenario's", "This Day In", "Dueling Ladders", and more. Make sure to peruse these boards and educate yourselves with everything Aces High has to offer.
One of the biggest differences you will find here is the customer service. Dale and his crew at HiTech are very responsive in helping new players and veteran players alike work through any issues or questions you may have. Updates that improve and develop the game are constant. New Aircraft are added alot and updates to existing aircraft are also consistently forthcoming. Dale and the HighTech crew are very involved and approachable.
It took me no time at all to begin enjoying the gameplay when I migrated from WarBirds 3 years ago, but it does take awhile to get the "feel" of the aircraft and gunnery here as it is different, and I think much better.
Again, glad you are all here, have a bit of patience with yourselves and I'm sure you will find this as rewarding as I do.
