Considering I make a pot of chicken and rice for her, every week, that vitamin C and glucosamine are added to, in addition to the yogurt and hard-boiled egg she gets, I would say "Yes".

Whatever you go with, your basement should also have one of these.

They're surprisingly inexpensive too!

If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.

lol  I live out in the country so the Mens room is the 2nd tree to the left behind the shed....

Food for thought:

2 - when you and your buds are up until 3 or 4 am cracking jokes and telling tall tales, they depart quietly through the door, and you won't disturb the misses as much.

Basement is a walk out so no need to go thru the main house......Wifes maiden name is Murphy.....trust me, wife will be at our side at 3 or 4 am with us  :D

I think ive decided on what im going to do.....Bar: wood frame wrapped in Judges paneling stained mahogany...bar top will be granite with a soapstone trim (to keep glasses from comming off the bar, and have a ledge on the bartenders side..drop down about 5" wide.  I can get some nice dark colored cabinets for behind the bar on the wall with glass front doors....and in between, im going to put a shelf and a light to shine down on the shelf and put the high end liqour on.... The wall behind the bartender will have stamped copper panels (where there are no wall cabinets) Ill also have a small counter on the wall behind me resting on lower cabinets.....I think the darker woods and copper will go better with the slate flooring. Front of the bar will have a brass foot ledge (depending on cost) Im going for turn of the century look.....at least I think i am    This could all change tommorow, but its what i came up with.......keep commiing with the ideas...everyone i got was bits and pieces of what everyone wrote.   :aok

Gonna get a few (2 or 3) small round pub tables each will have 3 barstools...and will mount a reall small shelf at chair rail height.....

Do you really want a granite bar top? Seems like it would be easy to break glass on and (from what I'm told) permanently stains real easy. If you're going that route, wouldn't Corian be a better choice? Same look, better endurance and less chance of glass breakage.

If you plan a stand-up area near the bar be sure to include a foot rail!  At 1 time I used to frequent a bar called "the brass rail" named after the brass foot rail that went all around the bar area.

The reason for this was to keep the patrons at the bar and drinking, the rail would take a load off your back.

You could go with copper to match or even wrought iron,if you haven't put the slate in,be sure to include it in the planning.
