Denver's almost in a state of emergency... The Boulder river is running twice as high as it has EVER in all of history (shattered the record). Loveland, the city, is almost literally cut in half as a river that runs east-west swelled so bad you almost couldn't cross from one half to the other. We've got flooding in many areas. We've even had one bridge damage so bad they were shutting down part of I-70, according to a radio report. 3 people have died in some way from flooding alone. Several cities INSIDE the denver area are being evacuated. Commerce City is one. There was another area I can't recall but was somewhat central. Some retaining ponds overflowed and totally flooded a bunch of residential areas. Major college campuses shut down and reported over 40 of their buildings have some amount of flood damage.
I has NOT stopped raining for the past 2 days. And not a light rain. LOTS of rain. There have been dozens of emergency alerts on the television warning of flash floods. Last night they were almost every hour on the hour. Just this evening a couple hours ago it stopped (for the most part), but I'm surprised the entire front range up and down the state hasn't been lost in a landslide.
I imagine this is playing bloody hell with internet through the region. It might mess with your hops on the way to and from the HTC servers (though I am only guessing).
