With Combat trim in both settings the flaps push nose down. I have even trimmed the nose up all the way and they still push the nose down. This has got to be backwards.

Rule of thumb, if you plan on using flaps, don't use combat trim.

As stated I tested this in both settings of combat trim. For those who have problems understanding this means off and on. Full trim up, full trim down, when flaps are deployed the nose is pushed down not up.
