Stick Settings Not Kept After New Install
« on: September 23, 2013, 02:36:11 PM »
I had a system crash and had to totally reload Windows XP home and Aces High.  I have my settings folder backed up and I replaced it in the Aces High folder once I re-installed the game.  The stick settings were not there for my X52.  So I reset the entire stick mapping and figured it would hold.  Next time I logged in the stick settings were not kept.  Help?

If it won't accept the old file. Try copying everything under the second line which will be a number like 3,24. Over top of what is in the current jsm file for your stick. You can always delete the jsm file and a new unmapped one will be generated.

This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.
