Scott, you will find people to play with its a good game that's not the problem, and there are so many great people that play the game , the only reason the game is good is due to the players, the game itself in 2013 is toejam.
I don't need a hug, this game doesn't or wouldn't control my life, i am just stating what the softcoks will not, 35 in game, half that is in tower?
Its just my time once again to rage quit, i have had more than 10 names and never been the ego ace, it was all about fun , that's been long gone.

I quit till tomorrow

lower the switch time and you will have less folks sitting in the tower staring at the map trying to decide if they'll log early or not  :aok

Now now, let's not use common sense when we can overreact.

Yeah but common sense never got us these funny nerd rage "I quit" threads.

This is typical during times when the west coast of the USA goes to bed. The vast reaches of the pacific are populated mostly by fish during their local prime-time and fish have a lousy internet connection. The game could definitely use more Jap/Aussie/Kiwi, perhaps Korean players to cover that time gap.

P.S.
Big maps suck on EU and US prime time also. Don't tell me Compello map is on again...

Sounds like a time issue. If I'm up late the numbers really drop off to almost nothing.

Yep, well last night was about the saddest I've seen it...as beefie said  35 players...half of that during the the entire 3 hrs I stayed(between the 2nd and 3rd hour it bumped up to a whopping 40 odd)on at least half were not active...the only reason I was on for so long is I decided to try and wait a litle to see if things picked up and took B5N's and JU87's on milk runs...those thinks are slow man.....as it happened I could have gone @ 2k.... not a single upper to thwart me destructive runs....Oh I lie...on one run there was an upper but I'm picking they were buffs too cause I never saw them and the bar dar went into the sector opposite to where I was...

How do you know who's on the tower?

Scott, that's how sad it is,i will have to find you on 2000 miles of map to get some fun, while your flying you have time to scout the BBS, that's not a action packed game at all.
I have done 13 years of aces and the rough sum is $2400 of my money, its not chook feed, i could buy into many new games that charge once off.
I love FSO but its not worth it  anymore, this is just a pile of toejam.
Over and out and i couldn't give a rats for aces, love the time spent when it worked but its now just history, and history not in a good way.
Cheers Ht  for doing nothing to get new blood.,

you can't place all the blame on HTC

it's just a crappy timezone for a niche game *shrug*

if you really need to fulfill that air combat urge you can play War Thunder, there are always fights to be found even in Aussie/Kiwi timezone...but sadly it's just not as good as AH ;<

It is a HT problem, i used to log in same time a few years ago now to 150+. My squad the "9giap" at the time had 10+ every night after hours or Aussie time, all interested and keen to kill, now its dead.

The main problem is aces has no advertising or social interaction, its time to get with the times, the game is good and a sell-able product but none knows its here.
make a FB app that shows how many on now, or something as that would put people off at the moment.
get more social in free networks
advertise
offer cash prizes like the old days
referrals
its endless.
Myself i run 6 businesses and if one looked like dying i would put effort in to make it get noticed, no mater how lame it might be, maybe if put up a prize for social shares, referrals or just do anything at all the numbers wouldn't be getting under 40 at anytime of day or night.

This game is part of my life, love history, war and the guys in the game, the history is there but the guys are leaving in hords, and the hords used to be the biggest whine now its the lack of.

AH will stay on the same stale road its been on for many many years, and numbers will keep falling.
This happens when you have the same 4 people working for you for ever.
Love the game like some of the people but management sucks   :neener:

What was your name when you flew with 9GIAP?
