curved screen technology

No it will just mean you can surround yourself with screens without having problems with view angles.

Thats a bit of a sweeping statement :)

You will saying one day we won't be able to stick a device on our head phones to alter veiws on our screens :)

What would also be a good idea is a hand held communicator like they have on Startrek :old:

Losing trackir would require encapsulating yourself to a dome. That technology already exists but is not very popular due to high cost and well, aesthetic reasons.
