Capt. James A. Shurig
« on: October 14, 2013, 04:29:03 PM »
My grandfather passed away this morning at the ripe old age of 95ish.  That's both of them this year.  Both pilots during WWII and both great men.   Grandpa Shuring was a B-25 guy....lol, cost him his marriage actually because he went back to the South Pacific after my mom was born.  He could never understand why we all want to fly those planes but he and my other gramps loved how this game looked....just like they remembered it.

Thank you to Cactus for kinda immortalizing him....I guess as long as this game is around, gramps will be too.

:salute to both my grandfathers and to those left of the greatest generation

For some reason that made me smile. Rest in peace Grandpa.

My condolences.  I recall your desire to have the B-25 added while your grandfather was still alive to see it.
