I thought Coombzy occasionally bent the rules a bit but no more than some others. I guess what he bent them over wasn't popular.

Balance in all things should there be. Disturbance in the force this is.

You only get so many strikes before you are banned from this board.  Once you have established you are not willing to respect the forum posting rules, then you should never be surprised when you are finally banned from the board.

Posts like this always remind me of the child who burned down a house, killing all the occupants, only to get support from those who claim he was misunderstood and should be allowed to go unpunished.  Of course, they also ignored the fact the child had a history of starting small fires.

We have a lot of arsonist kids in these forums then.  MAybe not burning houses down yet but lots of couch burning going on. They even brag about it.

And when they hit the same limit, they will be gone too.  Funny how that works.

Ordinary users can't see who's where with strikes, so it sometimes appears some are getting away with breaking the rules more than others.

That is because it really is no ones business, other than the person it directly impacts.

Waving that around like a flag, for everyone to make commentary on, is counterproductive.

If you are referring to a personal attack, via a PM, that counts double (or more), if it is reported.  That's the trick.  If no one reports it, then the person gets away with it.

We do not, nor cannot, read every post on the bulletin board.  We never know what is in a PM either.  It is up to the community to make the reports using the link in each post/PM.

No I meant do you get notified of an HTC strike via PM, but the red bit explains a lot, especially for someone drawn to say unpopular things.

Oh well that's an end on it.

Too bad.  I assume he enjoyed being here.  Unfortunately, its not uncommon for people mess up things they like for very little in return.  Its easy for them to look back and see, but they avoid seeing it while they are doing it.

I was temporarily banned for a few weeks by breaking a rule too many times. I tried to learn my lesson and not go too far and think carefully about my posts.  :headscratch:     Never would send any nasty PMs though.

When you see your posts constantly deleted for Breaking rule #XX you should know the ban hammer is going to fall soon.
