I enjoy the show. But its one aspect of it thats always cracked me up. No matter where they are or who they are talking to. Everyone knows who NCIS is as though is were the local police or something. When odds are that cept for the people that wath the show or may have been in the marines or navy. Most people wouldnt have a clue and it woudnt hold any more meaning then if someone said "BOB Stop!"
I do remember a Halloween episode years ago where Tony and Gibbs burst into house party with guns drawn and declaring "NCIS!". The partygoers started applauding believing them to be in costume themselves while one guy mistakenly thought they were supposed to be "CSI".
