The Allies should pay for defusing that bomb :old:
We sent them a blue tarp. What more do you want?

I sure would like to read how you came to that conclusion.  It would be a hoot.

Because the Allies started the war :old:

We're going to need that sarcasm smiley again.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

Here's what I have on unexploded bombs from the Allies;

Davis makes the point that, taken together, the Allies were flying one bomber in five empty across the Reich.

It is true that France and Britain started WWII, but Germany provoked it by invading a country allied with Britain.

Ok I have to ask.....why did the put a blue tarp over the rear of the bomb?

   Most likely it's the end they took off to diffuse bomb. You know construction workers smoke and throw their butts into the hole they dig.  Exposed explosive material is quite flammable.  :D

That's a stretch.
