Handling, which I would consider to be a facet of a plane's performance. And at high altitude, I feel the A-8's handling suffers to such a degree that it offsets it's engine performance advantage over the 410.

I will argue that the best "Deacker" doesn't need great guns.

Personally I use the FW190F8 with 12 rickets and one bomb. Bomb on radar and rockets on ack. The old maps I could hit the auto guns in 2 passes. New maps it takes 3(trying to figure it out). Upon deack complete you will have a good amount of cannon left for anything from troops to fuel.

Best pork run was all auto/man gun down, dar down, and ord down. All auto includes town ack.

I feel 262s aren't good at attacking buffs. From a gunner side they are one of the easiest planes to hit. Yes they can explode planes pretty easy but they aren't good at taking a beating. I would use a 190.

Mossy easily has best gun/ views in game. Fighter on Fighter its the best for making the shot, not so much getting position for the shot.

Il2 best guns for sure but sense they needed the F3(Thank You HTC) I'd say the Stuka is best observer/tank killer. A20 being the best overall but we aren't talking about bombs here.

Best is going to come down to what works for you.  For buffs I like Jugs.  For deacking I like the Dora or P-39Q or Yak-9T.  Gv's I like the Hurricane IId.  Taking out fighters?  Man that list is long...  Best defensive argument, B-29's, but they are very rare and usually very high.  So I would say B-17's.  Attacking a B-17 is like kicking a porcupine with flip flops on, you might hurt the porcupine, but it sure is gonna hurt when you kick it...

I prefer the p38 because it has good guns, powerful engines, and an EXCELLENT 360 degree view. It can carry bombs, it can carry rockets, and it can fight with the best of them

I actually find the views on the P-38 to be mediocre due to the mid wings and twin engines.

Or a manned gun. Or a wirb or ostie. Or an 88. The B-25H has a lot of potential, but there's just so few opportunities to apply its firepower before you yourself go down in a flaming wreck.
