Guys in here will tell you that I am not a computer "junkie", but had a similar problem about 6 months when I had to re-down load the game. What I did was this and it seemed to help. First, I unchecked the auto skins download. Then I went to advance options, graphic detail, and uncheck all the boxes, then I unchecked auto takeoff and anything else I could find, just to see what was slowing down my FR. By the time I got all this done, my frame rate was OK, so not sure if all that helped or not.

Usually when one seeks help of a technical nature, one posts in the Technical Support forum for assistance.  

In any event, manually download and install the Hi-Res texture pack and that will stop the game from repeatedly automatically downloading the Hi-Res texture pack.  As for your low frame rate, make sure you've installed the latest drivers and don't have any other programs running in the backround.  I could have posted more detailed help but since you didn't provide any real information to assist you, all you get is the generic help.

 You would be best served in the tech support forum,you will need to post the problem and post a copy of your DXDIAG,usually only the top 1/3rd is required.

  If you are uncertain how to post the DXDIAG,ask in tech support exactly how to do so and you will find the answers.

If you graphics card allows it which im sure they all do you can turn off or on whichever the case may be, Vertical Sync it may or may not help but ive had certain games with the same issue and it helped.

New problem i have put a new  sound pack exactly how i did the last time before a did a fresh reinstall and now it wont work in game

and every time i click to play the sounds it goes trough itunes would that cause it to not work
