I'm working to find the flight-test data.

So far, I'm having problems finding C_L vs. AoA -- any help there is appreciated.  Also, I found one source on critical mach.  Dragon enthusiasts will likely complain that the dragon sheds parts at too low a speed, so if anyone has more sources there, it would be good.

We definitely want them for scenarios, though, and are already working on a scenario based on the historical engagement in the movie cited by Waffle.

I'm worried as to how HTC will model the dragons fire breath. Will it be explosive bolts or a napalm effect? Also will we have to RTB and land on the pad to rearm or can we just go to the nearest town and eat villagers to refuel?



Oh and Brooke save me a B17 will ya?

Absolutely!

The scenario design is taking shape nicely.  Look for "Lair of the Dragons" scenario sometime in the first half of next year.

Clearly those dragons are undermodeled and should have been easily able to cause the ponies to overshoot simply by tucking in their wings and dropping

That film is as historically accurate as Redtails was.  Same writer/director team?

Luft-Dragons will just get the same feedback K4's do now:  "It flies like a UFO, but I can't hit anything with it."
