Odd scheme. Can you prove that it was used in combat?

According to my information she was a assembly ship to bring all the bomber together

ahhhh...... I remember g'pa speaking of B24's that had white and red striped wings and tail section being used for "marshaling" purposes.

Rgr that there are many different ones the most famous being Spotted Ape, I would have love to done that but it is a model "D"

Yeah, I know the issues with the D vs J model thing puts a damper on things for me.  My g'pa flew the B24D up and down the slot and I have pics of his plane but the skin can't be modeled since AH's B24 is a J.

That is a nice skin HornetUK, but I vaguely recall from when the AH B-24 first came out that HTC said assembly ships would not be permitted as skins as they were not combat aircraft. Might be worth emailing them to check.

That is annoying if you are right, and it is not mentioned on the guide lines on the submissions page. Just that the skin must be used in the second world war.

As someone in the know about finding great images, any ideas of your own for some great b24 skins. Something extra fun not looking for the mundane
