 More precisely get rid of the VH and build a motor pool the size of 4 to 6 bomber hangers, filled with GV's  an open area,, much like you would find in the real world,, a storage area for GV's,, with a VH for repairs,, to shut down GV's,, you would have to bomb the whole thing down,, maybe requiring 10 thousand pounds or more to destroy,, and it must be spread out over the whole area,,,,, a secondary idea for that would be specific areas for specific GV's,,, kill the tank area   no tanks!!! kill the light GV area,, no M-3's no M-8's,, no M-18's (  please don't)   just a thought!!!!

most motor pools I've ever been in have two or three gates, you'd spawn in the GV where it's parked and have to drive out whatever gate you wanted,,,,  just a thought!,,, if the fence was down from bombing,, I'd guess you could drive out thru the hole!,,, or you could shoot it down!

Love it!

Set it up to be like town, but make it a motor pool. 

The only way to take it is to shut it down and add a flag (to turn white to take it).

I really like the idea and the possibilities are endless.

Regardless if HTC changes this or not, I still believe each of the spawn options should be utilized in the hanger.  Meaning, there are 8 buttons (9 if the home spawn hanger is used) that each could have a different spawn point assigned, that means each field could have a gv spawn point just off the field, or three.  On the same note if there is only 1 or 2 enemy fields adjacent they too could have 2-3 different spawn points towards them as well.

I like the idea. To shut down a v base you have to shut the entire
GV motor pool down. Something similar for the air fields as well.

that's a good point but, motor pools and tank farms are/were separated too. everything that had a large boom stick on it went in an area away from the base motor pool where the 4 wheelers were. let's not forget that if such a thing were implemented, the relative temporary protection of the hangar would be gone so you would be spawning in the open and at those bases in hilly areas, it would be very easy for someone to spawn rape.

Loon's suggestion of multiple spawn points would make spawn raping more difficult if there were some spawns around the base perimeter.
