ya, that just sucks the life out of good war movies...

Heheh, pretty much every Stalingrad movie ever made has had a love story sub-plot, including the two German ones I've seen.
... missions were to be met by the commitment of alerted swarms of fighters, composed of Me 109's and Fw 190's, that were strategically based to protect industrial installations. The inferior capabilities of these fighters against the Mosquitoes made this a hopeless and uneconomical effort. 1.JD KTB

I'm going to pull a Guppy here and say those PzKw IVs are a bit early for November 42...or even
Febuary 43 when the battle ended.  The Ausf H is an April 43 model.

Other than that, I agree with you guys, slapping a love story into a Stalingrad movie is SO
Hollywood.  Now everyone wants to cash in on the women...even as a backstory.

You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

What did I do! :ahand
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
