Sweet! Did you find the P button to lock landing gears after that?

I built a huge twin gun for my ship out of another ship with landing gear, so it can turn and move about all over the ship
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

Yeah was, pretty fun to do. Aside from more shaped blocks, the ability to copy and paste larger sheets of armour would help. My next ship will be made as a skeleton structure, rather than laying a keel and building up from there.

Furnished the hangar with lighting

Worked out that using the mirror function I can create 2 or 4 identical structures just by building one on a cross piece that later gets deleted. This is awesome.

Then I built a couple of large, heavily armed fighters to defend the ship

Gave the old girl a black respray and then added lots of really big guns by building them as separate ships and docking them where and in the direction I wanted.

And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

Cute, Bat built his own Space Battleship Yamato, wonder how he's going to build that centerline
wave motion gun  :lol

Was looking for Yamato pics and ran across this from the 2199 movie.

Not sure I'd want to escape from Earth on that particular ship.  :D

You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

I think the gimble gobbler may have gummed your gimble, go get it checked.

Nah, after the next try was ending even worse, I simply discarded that model and cdesigned a bigger and better one, being able to carry out scientific research:

Then I went on for a manned landing on the Mun. I made it, but the landing place was less than optimum:

Good old Bill Kerman went on a excursion, took Munar samples and proudly planted his flag. But then disaster struck: On his way back to the lander he stumbled and fell against the landing struts...

Jebediah went on an EVA trip before I fully understood the rocket backpack controls. When I did, the capsule already went out of sight... He's still orbiting Kerbin....  :old:

That looks awesome.  How big is the universe you play in?

As far as I can tell it's just an endless empty 2D space with a background and a few random 3D rocks floating around. Still in early alpha stage.

One of the most rewarding video game moments ever:
Landing a Kerbal on the Mun for the first time   :x
The least rewarding:
Splattering the same Kerbal on the return trip because you forgot to include a parachute on your 178 part 10 stage rocket. :bhead
