Saitek/ch conflict
« on: November 20, 2013, 05:44:07 PM »
I have a SaitekX52 stick/throttle and ch pro rudders. I have the pedals plugged into a SB Live game card. Is it possible to get the rudders working with the SAITEK equipment? Win 7 8G ram 3G proc, good vid card etc. many thanks

If windows can see them then the game should see them. As for conflicts, I have read about lots of people who mix and match sticks and rudders and pads and things and they don't seem to have trouble.

I was not aware there were any game port drivers for Windows 7.  I thought Windows XP was the last to support that interface.

I ran the same setup with no issues.  You have to disable the twisty stick rudder settings, then enable the pedals.  As a matter of fact, I run a X52 stick, and CH throttle and pedals.  I hope Santa will bring me a CH stick for xmas, but it's working fine right now.

If you see me ingame I will be glad to help you with setup.  I fly as AKMeathd...

The game does not care how many or what configuration sticks there are connected.  You will have to manually configure sticks, in a multi-stick configuration.  As long as they show up in the drop down list on the clipboard (Options->Controls->Map Controllers) they can be programmed to be used by the game.

Are you using the legacy analog CH Pro Pedals plugged into a game port?  If so, you're not going to get them to work in Windows 7 as there is no support for analog game ports or game devices.
