The white color comes from a temporary camouflage over the standard 74 and 75 upper-surface colors and carries standard yellow  identification markings.













Note : Didn't realize that the elevators should be shaders instead of actual lines, I fixed that after looking at some other skins created by other people. I simply made an outline of the shape and used the gradient tool and made a shading with black to transparent.

Looks good. Nice catch on your elevators.

Here's a couple of adjustments that you should make to improve the accuracy of the whitewash:

White paint is applied to the upper surfaces over existing paint on winter schemes. You should paint a simple camouflage pattern in RLM 74/75/76 as a base then add the white over the base camouflage. While you state that in your post, the finished product looks like you painted the entire plane white. The underside should clearly be RLM 76. By varying the opacity of the whitewash, in effect simulating paint strokes, you can sell the fact that it is a temporary topcoat. For example, have a look at Fencers' Jg53 G-14 or my Jg54 F-4 and G-2.

The rivets and panel lines were highly visible in the black and white photos, so I just made the presumption they should be. Also I like heavy panel lines, some prefer heavy panel lines some don't. These panel lines in specific were not as heavy as I usually make my panel lines.

I believe that they were fabric covered, so the parts where the frame is are lighter and the in-between (shallower) parts would appear darker.
