He is wrong in as much as The non Crown dependacy islands off England, Scotland and Wales do form part of Great Britain and are considered part of the British Isles. Unlike Northern Ireland which is neither part of Great Britain or the British Isles. Indeed citizens of Northern Ireland can not strictly refer to them selves as British. Then no one can because, as he said, the old British passport is no more and we are all UK citizens now and not GB citizens.
