Another great year for FSO and the 412th
« on: December 14, 2013, 08:46:38 PM »
I know there is 1 frame left in 2013, but I thought it would be better to post now than later. A few years back now, the 412th Braunco Mustangs changed their name after some command changes. At that time, we were made up of a few different squads that had been flying together for a little bit.

Elements of the Jabostaffel, The 5th AF, a few guys from the Claim Jumpers and myself were all we were. I decided a more fitting name would needed because we just weren't the 412th Braunco Mustangs any more and came up with the idea that we were all Volunteers, similar to the American Volunteer group or the foreign pilots in the RAF so the name Friday Night Volunteer Group was born. We continued to grow and took on more Volunteers from the Damned and the ~FATE~.

I created our nose art poking a little fun at the former squadron nose art of the squad, and went with a dead horse.

Last year I printed these T shirts and sent them to any squad member who wanted one. Well, since I sent those last shirts out the squad has went through some more changes. We have taken on more members and grown even stronger.

What once was a dead horse is now back and therefore we had to make a few changes.

Left Chest Art... (Sorry don't know how it got so blurry)

And the Art on the Back...

I feel it really shows how much we have changed... This is a list of all the pilots I sent these shirts to today (The post office was more fun than a FSO Kate Mission in 1944). I would like to personally thank them for making 2013 a great year!

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Very nice Nef.

Great job as always, and with everything you are involved in.  I remember some great high alt battles with the 412th back in the day of the Braunco Mustangs.

The squad experience can be the most rewarding part of the game.
